On voit souvent et de manière récurrente sur le web et surtout sur les réseaux sociaux des articles "put-a-clic" comme quoi nous les employés Mcdo pinçons les barquettes de frite pour en donner moins. Alors je vais de suite démonter cette rumeur qui est un énorme fake !!! |
Mcdonald's possède un cahier des charges où tous les processus, méthodologies, grammages, etc... y sont marqués.
Ce cahier ce nomme "Golden Standard" et tous les restaurants Mcdonald's en France sont obligé de l'appliquer et reçoivent annuellement des contrôle sur le respect des pratiques.

Regardez bien le schéma ci-dessous que toutes les fakes news à ce sujet relais.
Ne voyez vous pas un incohérence sur le fait de "pincer pour donner moins"?
On pince sur les côtés pour ouvrir les barquettes qui sont collées à la base comme ci dessous (désolé je n'ai pas de barquette non utilisée en photo).
Vous remarquez donc que dans cette état, il est strictement impossible de mettre des frites dedans.

Comme vous vous en doutez, il y a bien un poids standard pour tous les formats de barquettes de frites.
Sauf que nous n'avons pas de balance à proximité donc nous devons les remplir visuellement ce qui rends le respect total de ce grammage impossible.
De plus, vu la vitesse à laquelle nous devons "produire", pincer systématiquement les barquettes pour "réduire les quantités" nous ferait perdre trop de temps inutilement.
Ensuite, chaque fins de mois, tous les Mcdo de France effectuent un inventaire et un logiciel de gestion indique le nombre de frites vendu et le poids de ces dernières.

D'où vient alors cette rumeur ?
Simplement que quand on met les frites en barquette, elles sont solide mais elles se ramolissent très vite, comme n'importe quelle frite en fait.Lorsque les frites se ramolissent, elles se tassent naturellement dans les creux dans le fond de la barquette ce qui donnent une impression de "moins remplis" lorsqu'on les sert.
Faites simplement le test chez vous avec des frites maison qui se conservent mieux ou des pre-frites McCains (les mêmes que celles de Mcdo) et pourrez le constater par vous-même.
